This week at CMS: - Interim reports will be mailed home Tuesday, 12/9. - Renowned speaker Willie Spears returns for a whole school assembly Tuesday morning. - Tuesday night Willie Spears will speak to the community between the 7th grade and 8th grade boys. basketball games at EMS between EMS and CMS. - Thursday, 12/11, at 9am we will have our choir concert and art show and we invite our families to join us to celebrate the musical and artistic talents of our scholars. Good Morning CMS Families, I want to remind you that the district will be operating on a two-hour delay TODAY, 12/5/25. This means that all schedules, including morning bus pick-up times, will be delayed exactly two hours. Although the school day will be shorter, it is essential that all students attend. If you are dropping off your child by car, please arrive at 9:45am. Students will report directly to homeroom upon arrival. Please remember that breakfast will not be served when the district operates on a 2-hour delay, so students should eat at home before coming to school. We look forward to seeing everyone at 9:45am. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition in the event of a two-hour delay. Please let us know if you have any questions or need additional guidance.

On Tuesday, October 31 Chaney Middle School scholars and staff will be permitted to dress up under the following guidelines: Faces cannot be covered at all, so no masks, paint, or anything else that could cover the face. Not hats or hoods are permitted. No fake weapons are permitted. The costume cannot be too revealing.

For now we have the following times for Chaney MS Boys Basketball at Volney. Open Gym 10-21 (11am-2pm) 10-24 (4:30-6:30pm) 10-26 (4:30 - 6:30pm) 10-28 (11am - 2pm) Try-Outs 10-30 (4:30pm - 6:30pm) 11-1 (4:30pm - 6:30pm) 11-2(4:30pm - 6:30pm)

Chaney Middle School Girls Basketball will have Open Gym on Tuesday, October 24 at 3:30pm until 4:30pm at Chaney Middle School.

Here are a couple updates. First, food distribution will continue and the cafeteria staff will be available from 10:30am until 12:30pm to pick up the food. Second, anyone that would still like to pick up a fevice for you scholar can do so in thr main office between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

The administrative team would like to invite our scholars and their families to our "Welcome Back To School Orientation" tomorrow, August 17, from 4pm - 6pm. Families will receive important information for this school year, meet the administrative team, and have the opportunity to receive support from our technology department in completing the required forms in FinalForms. We do ask our scholars and familes planning to attend to use the main entrance when entering the building. GO COWBOYS!!
