What is TESOL?
TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It's a field of education that focuses on teaching English to non-native speakers in a variety of settings, including schools, community centers, universities, and corporate environments. TESOL professionals are trained to understand the challenges non-native English speakers face, from basic communication to academic proficiency.
TESOL is one of the fastest-growing educational sectors in the world, and there is a high demand for TESOL teachers. TESOL certification programs teach educators how to teach English to non-native speakers, and many schools worldwide rely on TESOL-certified teachers.
