Come join us to learn about literacy and to see we are doing at CMS to help our scholars read, write, and share ideas! Also, you will learn about and see some of strategies we use in all classrooms to maximize student learning at CMS, such about the Keys to Literacy strategies for Vocabulary, Comprehension and Writing.
On top of food and beverages, there will also be fun interactive stations for parents and students to do ELA activities, such as storytelling, creating a CMS Family Tree, word bingo, make a Frayer Model, complete a “Quick Write”.
Finally, you will learn about an online resource that our scholars have access to, called Paper.
